I could no longer resist the temptation so this morning I stopped by the local Kwik-E-Mart (aka 7-Eleven) for some delectable Simpson's donuts. One to eat now and one to keep in reserve as an "emergency donut."

This one does not belong to the Reds

Last month Bridget and I went to the ballpark to watch the Reds take on the Mariners. It was Griffey's return to Seattle since being traded to Cincinnati. This was the third game of a three game series and the stadium was packed. Despite the Reds' loss it turned out to be a great afternoon as we were witness to two, yes two, Griffey home runs.
