It's a bird . . . it's a plane . . .

After Abel Tasman we headed southwest to Westport on the west coast of the south island. Along the way we stopped in Murchison for some whitewater rafting on the Buller River. After the rafting we stopped a road side attraction involving New Zealand's longest swingbridge and a Flying Fox. A Flying Fox is a zipline across the gorge.

Here's a front row view of the Flying Fox zipline across the gorge.

Now it's time for Eric's impression of Superman.

Abel Tasman

Well, it was time for another Baker family vacation so we packed our bags, sent the dog off to "camp" and headed to New Zealand. Our first stop was the south island's Abel Tasman National Park where we enjoyed a some sea kayaking and camping. The water was blue, the beaches were golden but best of all it was summer!

To be continued . . .
